Massey – For Your GRAMMY® Consideration

MASSEY is a genre-shifting vocalist and songwriter whose music blends the traditions of R&B, Americana, rock, funk, and soul into something wholly his own. A long-time creative force, he emerged as a solo artist with a catalog that reflects both social consciousness and stylistic range.

Working closely with producer JoeBaby Michaels (Rolling Stones, James Brown, Lynyrd Skynyrd) on Bent River Records, MASSEY has been recording at the historic Dockside Studio in Louisiana, collaborating with musicians including Charlie Wooton and Daniel Groover. His work has already earned a WEA Earth Award nomination, and MASSEY’s videos have surpassed 1 million views on YouTube.

Recent releases showcase his versatility: the soulful late-night confessional “3AM” (Best Traditional R&B Performance), the atmospheric “Box of Rain” featuring Vince Herman (Best Americana Performance), and the fiery “Tattoo My Heart” (Best Rock Performance). Each track underscores his vision of music as both a force for connection and a celebration of funk, grit, and truth.
