Massey, an artist who seems to have descended from another planet with his visionary approach to music”- LA weekly

MASSEY is an enigmatic force—a sonic shapeshifter blending neo-disco swagger with neo-grunge grit. With a voice that echoes the fire of Jim Morrison and the raw soul of James Brown, he crafts cinematic soundscapes that defy convention.

Drawing from a rich tapestry of rock, funk, and storytelling, MASSEY's music pulses with messages of rebellion, resilience, and revelation. His collaborations with masterful musicians and visionaries like Doug Belote (Eric Clapton, Marcus King), JoeBaby Michaels (Rolling Stones, James Brown), Vince Herman (Leftover Salmon), XOCHI, Charlie Wooton (Royal Southern Brotherhood), Daniel Groover (Nas, India.Arie, Nelly), and Peter Oravetz channel something untamed and otherworldly—creating a sound that is both nostalgic and futuristic.

His catalog showcases a dynamic range of moods and styles. The late-night meditation 3:00A.M. Funk drifts between R&B groove and psychedelic dreamscape, a fan favorite that hints at both vulnerability and swagger. Tattoo My Heart (WEA- Best Rock Song 2026 Winner) delivers a fever dream of desire and danger, driven by dueling guitars and seismic bass in a New Orleans–infused ride that earned critical acclaim. His reimagining of Box of Rain with Herman warps the Grateful Dead classic into a grungy, electrified incantation, while his collaboration with XOCHI on “(Never) 2 Hot transforms protest into poetry—a call to arms disguised as a dance floor anthem.

The debut album, “Reason For Being”, dropped on 10/24/25, featuring an additional 5 unreleased tracks that add to the unique range of sound from MASSEY!

This is just the beginning.
